With a B.S. in Microbiology from the University of California, Davis, and research experience in immunotherapy at Stanford University, Dr. Ostashko has developed a lifelong interest in the neuroimmune axis, including the brain-gut axis, and treating neurological disorders related to immune system dysregulation.
Dr. Ostashko earned his MD with honors from St. George’s University and completed his neurology training at Virginia Commonwealth University Medical Center, one of the nation's leading academic medical centers. He believes in an integrative approach to neurological health and provides comprehensive care to patients with a broad range of neurologic conditions, including those with complex autoimmune diseases. He takes the time to understand the unique healthcare needs and concerns of each patient.
